What PH do you keep your tank at? From what level to what level. 8.00 to 8.40?

I've had the windows open since yesterday Kyle and the pH is 8.34 in DT and 8.43 for the 40B. When windows are closed and AC on, DT and 40 run about 8.1 When I was dosing Kalk, both ran about 8.2-8.3 with AC on. With lights on, I'm satisfied with 8-8.4. Don't like to get my tanks much above 8.4 Are you having spikes currently?

Yes it was very balanced tell we turned off AC. Went to 8.40 and I figured it was windows open. Every thing was good after AC went on again that was a few weeks ago. I did my first water change a week and 1/2 everything was still cool. Last week around Tuesday the PH went down to 7.99. And stayed low over 24 hours. I added some Alk does at a very low amount. Went back up to 8.23 were I like it and now as I am in Colorado it seems to be rising again through out the day. Its at 8.40 now. It normally goes down. I was just checking on what others see in there tanks. See with the Apex you see these things more easily.
I just keep an eye on it.
