I have 2 phantom clowns that I purchased about 3 months ago. They are about 1 1/2" one slightly larger than the other. They are constantly going at it. They don't appear to be doing any damage just constantly jaw checking and the slightly larger one generally bullying the other. I assume they are trying to establish the dominance but I have never seen it last this long. Is this normal. Will it end eventually? Should I be concerned or stage an intervention? Thanks

Female is the one that does most of the bulling in the courting dance. It sounds like to me that they are just courting or mating. My pair do that off and on all the time. Some jay damage can occur, but for the most part they don't injure each other too bad.

I would echo that... most my females do this with their mates.... just continuously courting dance this way.
