the best way i have found is to get a piece of the mouth with each frag. dremel w/ diamond cut off wheel works best for me.

I am not a fan of dremel tools with this kind of coral, the flesh seems to tear pretty easy. For some of my frags I took a 1ft long piece of 1/2 pvc and cut a notch on one end. A razor blade of whatever size I needed would go in that. I then would put that on the piece of coral I was wanting to frag and whack it with a hammer.

Nice clean quick cut with minimal stress to the coral.

The best thing to use to cut it up would be a wet diamond blade bandsaw
