What type of pipe cement or glue is  safe to plumb your tank with?  Adam told me but for the life of me I can't remember the name. I see people using the purple primer   which i thought was toxic and don;t know the glue.. Any info is helpful,I will be starting by GLA 30C build thread tomorrow.

You can use pvc cement and primer without any problems. Once it has dried it is perfectly safe. After all, they use it for drinking water.

Yeah it cures in a few hours at most, but I've read things that indicate that it cures in 15 minutes. I give it 2 or three to call it good, and I've done some major re-hauls on my pvc before...never had a problem. I have always tried to avoid excess pvc glue though, wiping away what i can and not getting to crazy with it, but make sure to get a good thin coat on both pieces your joining.
