Looking for suggestions for a pond pump that moves about 2700 gph @ 5' of head.  I've fried a HY-Drive 3200 and a 4000 over the past 4 years.  The internal heat sensor keeps kicking them off.  I replaced the impeller on the 4000 and that didn't do much.  I'm still fighting with the vendor over the warranty on the 4000.  Since these are Pondmaster pumps I hoped they would be as good as the Mag Drives - NOT!
Preferably looking for submersible so I don't have to re-plumb the waterfall but if it makes more sense to go in-line then so be it.  I'm also trying to stay with a magnetic pump so I don't enrich Mid-America too much.
