So after today's incident (SEE HERE) I am thinking of selling the tank.
With trying to keep people from jumping to conclusions and still not broadcasting too much of my personal life on a public forum, I will give you the quick and dirty run down of what is going on.
While my girlfriend isn't opposed to having the tank, I can tell she views it more as a burden than anything else. She puts up with it for me, but is clearly not as passionate about this world as I am. The big issue here is that I am rarely home. I am always either off in class or at work. She tries to keep up, but that fact of the matter is she just isn't interested, which is fine. This lack of interest coupled with my lack of being home results in "stupid" mistakes being made that can change things in an instant. In an effort to be fair to the lady in my life as well as to the livestock I cherish so dearly, I am considering selling the setup.
I would like to point out a couple of things, for those who don't know the setup. It is a FOWLR with 90% man-made dry rock that I seeded with live from another member here on RC. As far as looks, I'd say the rock is 50% there to looking like "normal" live rock. As far as filtration, it is definitely ready for you. The vast majority of the man made stuff is pieces that are greater than 20lbs (dry weight, haven't measured wet) and is extremely porous. I am very happy with it. I also have what I estimate to be 150-175 pounds of sugar fine sand. I got this from Phyllis as sand she used in her large display before breaking it down. It was cleaned very thoroughly after I received it and I have been quite happy with it. I don't know if I would call it live, but it is somewhere between that and "dry" sand. It gets stirred constantly by critters (and myself) so there is no anoxic region. You would be perfectly safe to pop this stuff in your tank.
So here we go. Livestock first. As you may imagine this would all need to go first, then the rock/sand, then the equipment.
All prices are OBO within reason. I still plan on attending fall fest and do have a pickup, so it might be a good chance for bulkier items.
Pair of Juvenile (black) ribbon eels $250
You may have been hit with sticker shock here, but I would like to point a few things out first. Number one, they are both eating thawed silversides. One will eat two every other day, the other will eat one every other day. I trained them on aquarium tongs. I have the process basically mapped out in THIS THREAD. Everyone warned me against these guys, and it was a tough road, but most of my free time was absorbed in getting these guys to accept dead fish. I guarantee you won't find these guys anywhere guaranteed eating! They are also both showing signs of started to color up blue. One thing, you NEED a very tight lid and mesh on your overflow. They will get through the thin teeth of the overflow. I have watched them do it!
    Pair of percula clowns $35
I have had these guys for over a year. I am told they have made their way around the club. They started in the nano and upgraded to the 150g penthoouse /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/laugh.gif They are super cool and personable.
    Yellow Tang $25
This guy is super cool. He went right to the nori clip after being introduced to the tank, which is something I have never seen before. I was relieved to se him doing well after the salinity swing fiasco.
Inverts - Crabs, snail assortment, etc
I have upwards of 300 crabs/snails, ranging from 2x emerald crabs, a slew of red/blue/white leg hermits, nassarius snails, nerite snails, astria snails, etc. Not sure I can really price these out too well. Many will be in the rock and sand bed, so I am thinking I may just add a little more value to the rock?
150 (very conservative number) lbs Live rock $3/lb or $300
    for all of it!
This is going to come with bunches of snails, hermits, etc. as mentioned above. You will get a large brttile star itchiker in there almost for sure
    150 Pounds of sand. $30
I will admit I got the sand free, but there will be a ton of snails and hermits in the mix.
If we can get all that moved, we will have tank/equipment next.
    150g Acrylic $500
48''x30"x30" The only real scratches on this tank are two at the top. Those are noticable (not really in pics), but they can be buffed with novus. I had planned on this, just never got around to it. The stand needs to come apart since it was built in the room it stands in (won't fit through door otherwise). All it is is a 2x4 skeleton basically, so nothing special. I do have a low profile canopy made of 2x6 and plywood (painted with a light brown off-tint paint from HD). I don't mind tossing those in. It is also plumbed for a dual closed loop. I have plugged those holes with bulkheads, so they are easily usable/accessible if needed. Built-in overflow with blue acrylic back. I "modded" the overflow, but that is nothing more than zip-tieing some gutter-guard to it (for the eel's sake). It isn't really visible, but can VERY easily be removed.
    2x

    [class="productnamecolorLARGE colors_productname"]Gen-X PCX40 Pump - 1190gph $75//$65 each or [/class]$125 for the pair
The one running on the tank (4 months) was never used before I got my hands on it. The other one was used for about a year before me. There was some rust but I "repaired" this area with some krylon fusion just to reduce the paint from coming off. The result is good. There is a stripe of paint a little lighter blue than the rest of the pump, but it keeps the metal from being exposed.
4x Koralia Evolution 1400gph powerheads $35 each or $120 for all
Got these used on RC. Have been working great. Very happy with the money I saved over the vortechs. Apparently they can be used to make a wave, I will be honest and say that I don't find them dead silent at startup. They are dead silent while running though.
ASM G3 Skimmer with Gate Valve Mod $175
The collection cup also has a hose barb fitting mod to allow for waste collection in a large container. I have been very happy with this skimmer. It can pull a thick foam to sup light skimmate (I have actually been doing a fairly wet skimmate, still dark color about 1 gal,lon a day). The gate valve allows for super fine control.
    Salt Water Mixing Station $50
This is essentailly two food grade rubbermaid 28g tubs, one above the other (fresh>salt). Fresh tank has a float switch to stop water when it is full. There is a ball valve that can be opened up to release all the water down to the salt tub. From there, you just measure 28g salt into the tub, and let the powerheads do the mixing. The plumbing has unions in it for easy take apart. Has a stand made from wood scrap. Cheap, but still functional.
Icecap 660 Ballast Wired for 4x 64w (4") T5 bulbs including 4 pairs T5 waterproof endcaps and individual icecap reflectors $175
You might consider a new harness for this one. Works fine, no "open wire", but looks a tad bit worse for wear (can tell wire has been re-reouted a few times). I will also throw in a slew of bulbs. Most of them used for varying times, but good to test your colors. I think I have 7 bulbs total, 2x Fiji Purple, 2x actinic plus, 2x blue plus, and a single 10000K-ish bulb.
2x TLF 150 Phosban Reactors $30 each or $50 for the pair

All hose fitting are there. Will throw in some plumbing/hose too (was going to plumb them into my return pipe)
    Refractomer $25

    1.4 L (new) BRS Biopellets $75
Had plans on running this in the reactor. Obviously if I sell this won't happen. This is the price I got it for by splitting up a 1 gallon tub of it. Won;t find it this cheap anywhere!
1 gallon (unopened)  BRS Lignite large particle carbon) $15
Same deal as above. Shaved a couple bucks off the already reduced BRS group buy price!
Totaled, everything comes to $1725 (Yikes, I spent more on this tank than I thought! Little things add up!)
If you take it all, I will do $1200 even. I don't care if you get together and split it amongst 5 people, just so long as things get moved all together and I get one lump sum of cash. Willing to negotiate some on all prices (not so much on the entire package deal).
Make me an offer if you like, I really don't offend easily. Worst thing I can say is no!
I should add that this will be first come first served. That said, I like the idea of "packages" so if someone wants a single item but hasn;t paid yet, I do reserve the right to sell that item to someone else who is buying a handful of other things from me as well.
    Pics after the break!

Oh. I still have that 70g rubbermaid tote. I figure $50 is fair.
Also, a ReefKeeper Lite (basics unit - 1PC4, temp probe, head unit) $80

Pic of the rock (dry) before it went into tank. I suppose I should mention that this isn't all of it in the picture)

Couple shots of the empty acrylic tank. I should metion that there are acrylic covers for both openings as well as the overflow, but they are not pictured.

    I am interested in your
    --tang $25
--all of the nassarius snails, nerite snails you can find.
--any red leg hermits you have
    --the BRS Carbon $15
--2 of your (quietest)  Koralia Evolution 1400gph powerheads $25 each
To anyone interested, this is a nice looking tank and at this point your sand is alive so you're good to go on that one.

I mesed up the prices on the powerheads. My bad... I fixed it though. They are all quiet, but they "click" in startup. I have read others say the same thing about these pumps. The only reason I mentioned it is because they are supposedl silent start up.

Dang it! Why do you do this when most of my fall fest money is already spent!

P.S.: ride it out...fish are not worth a relationship. Coral is of course /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif.
