   So I replaced the power compacts in my 14 and 29 gallon bio-cubes. As I slowly inch and I mean slowly inch toward setting up the 110, would the power compacts work for lighting on a refugium. Still looking for the right sump for that will work for a fug if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

   If you ran a dual daylight bulb or something similar I'm sure it would work just fine, however given the power consumption, bulb cost and light output, I'd look into getting an affordable LED fixture. There's a few threads on here regarding refugium lighting that will help point you in the right direction.
