Power outage for 10 minutes this morning

I was out late last night so I slept in. As I was dozing away I woke up to hear a steady beeping under my pillow. After further investigation, the beeping was actually under my floor, in my basement, coming from the UPS backup battery six strip outlet. (I have a router, modem and apex plugged into it)


The power was out. I was home. What a great time to test my backup system in real time. So....


1. UPS battery backup activated....I can hear the beeping....check!

2. Vortech pumps running on vortech backup batteries.....check!

3. Who the hell is texting me right now?....oh yes, it is my apex, telling me my power is out.

4. Who the hell is texting me again?...oh yeah my apex! (thanks buddy)

5. Now who is emailing me? My apex. Of course.

6. Ok Apex...I get it. Quit texting and emailing me!


Then the power came back on. I went back to bed. End of story. (brought to you with the help of coffee)

 

Not really sure how long it would last. Theoretically I just needed all those devices powered on for 1-3 minutes after the power goes out in order to send out the SOS messages. I am sure I bought a unit that has around 15-30 minutes but I can't remember for sure.
