I started to do my water change today and when I went down stairs in my mixing tub my power head end had come off and the sides of the tub, the power head and heaters were all covered in white stuff that might be un mixed salt but I started wiping it off before I thought about it but I do have a pic of a little of it, but wondering what yall thought about it, I tend to go to side of caution but I hate to pump 30 gallons of water down the drain

I see that all the time with reef crystals. What kind of salt are you using?
