Theres tons of ick treatment chems out there and alot will say they are reef safe but done believe it. Only one I know of and I posted in ur other thread. Theres the freshwater dip, slow lowering of salinity in QT tank, chem treatment in QT tank. Tons of ways in a QT tank just need a heater and powerhead. Go buy a 20$ 10-20 gal tank at petco. they had some special where it was $1 per gallon or something so $20 gets you a 20 gallon. Do a water change with however much water you need to fill your qt tank, maybe a piece or two of LR for them to hide in and to get somewhat of your bio filter in there w them. Badaboom! You have a QT tank. I was gonna do that, then I bought that stuff I mentioned in the other thread. Save yourself time, money and a whoooooole lotta hassle and buy that stuff dude. Either I got very very lucky along with all the other ppl that have had great results and post on his site, orrrrr maybe, just maybe, it works. lol Not being a smartass bro but it works. http://www.nosickfish.com/products.php?product=1

while this stuff may work, your going to want a qt tank anyway for the future. leave your tank fallow for about 6 weeks and your tank should be clear of ich.

I think Ninja would disagree with you Justin.
We seem to be talking about two things here but from what Justin is saying you must have Ick. I haven't seen that thread. Anyway, two different things: QT tank and Hospital tank. Sounds like what you want is a hospital tank.
If it were my tank I would not risk the "Reef Safe" chemical that Justin used. Yes he used it successfully as have others but many others have crashed their tanks with it. IMO opinion it is not worth the risk, especially when there is a way that will not crash your tank if done right.
    In Short:
Pull all fish and run display tank fallow (without fish) for apx 8-9 weeks.
Treat fish with copper in Hospital tank with CopperSafe.
If fish aren't copper safe then use Hypo-salinity in hospital tank
It sucks to tear down your tank and to wait for 2 months but IMO and the Opinion of most (if not all) Reef experts it is the only safe way to get rid of Ick forever. Otherwise the parasite will be in your tank forever. Then turn that hospital tank into a QT tank and never add another fish that hasn't be QTed for 4 weeks. Using these methods Ick will be a thing of the past. Don't do it and Ick will return to haunt you one day. I am speaking from experience, I have been stupid and rushed the process a few times over the years and learned to regret it.

I would go with a 20 Gallon but remember you will be making good size water changes several times a week normally unless you see no ammonia which is unlikely.
Problem with a 20 is you really don't need that large for a QT IMO. I use a ten. You might try to borrow the 20 for the 8 week hospital and buy a 10 for QT for later. If you are in DSM I think I have a 20 you can borrow.
Oh I never answered your original question but Justin did. Yes you need a small heater, make it just large enough to keep the temp up on the tank you choose. This way if things go wrong you have less chance of cooking your fish. A small powerhead. I use an MJ 1200 though but hook a regulated airline to it which reduces its flow but adds oxygen.
I am 50/50 on adding live rock.It is a great thing for the bacteria so I can't argue it at all. It always seem to drop too much material when I do it and it makes the tank dirty quickly. So I just use big PVC T's and elbows for the fish to use for sanctuary. Then I do about 15% water changes every other day. If using a hospital tank with copper you will want to replace the copper you remove with water changes which can be challenging with small changes.

I think all of your fish are copper safe so use copper. It is the quickest and most efficient. Again my opinion though. Research and make sure all of your fish are Copper Safe. I believe at Dr. Fosters they list fish that aren't on the Copper Safe Product description "More Info" link.
