I need to look into getting more salt for setting up the 220 in the next couple weeks and was wondering what is the difference between Coralife salt (been using), instant ocean and the seachem mix? We have corals and fish going into  this tank if that makes any dif. Thanks

I found this on RC if it's any help.
All I can say is they were all tested under the same
conditions, with a number of different brand test kits, using the same
methods for each test. I believe these numbers are reasonably what you
can expect from these salts mixed at 35 ppt or 1.0264

Are you happy with your current results? If it works, keep using it. Salts vary in makeup. Most salts will need some kind of boosting whether it be calcium, magnesium or alkalinity. It comes down to personal preference and which parameters you don't mind adjusting.

I always had good luck with coralife. I got the most coraline growth with it and I always seemed to have pretty stable parameters. I used IO for my fish only setup as it was cheaper and you will find Reef Crystals to be about the most popular brand within the club.
