Question for Scuba Divers

    Check out leisurepro.com. I think they have some of the best deals online for equipment. A 3 mil suit should be fine unless you want to dive in iowa waters. Then I'd get a 7mil. They aren't as flexible, but when you reach that first thermocline you won't regret getting a 7 mil suit.

    I think the hardest part of learning scuba is equalizing your pressure, and learning how to control your body in the water and not flail around. That can really eat up your oxygen. Also if you can learn to regulate your breathing at a slower rate that can help conserve oxygen too.

    Also, consider doing the manta night dive if it is available. I hear it's incredible.
