    My arms have poison ivy on them
    I assume not good for tank
    Am I correct ?

    I used rubbing alcohol then vinegar. I need to do some maintenance lol
    Guess I could get rubber shoulder length gloves

    That is an interesting question. Besides the obvious of any creams or anything you're putting on it contaminating the water causing issues. I would say the other concern would be the tank water irritating/causing issues if the sores are open. I think some long gloves and good washing before and after precautions would be best if you have to get in the tank for anything.

    Once the oil is off your skin, which it would be once you washed your hands/arms, there isn't really much that would enter the tank from poison ivy. Gloves are a good idea, not from protecting the tank from you, but keeping all sort of microorganisms off the rash, especially if the skin is broken and it's oozing.

    Ya, I think I would definetly rock some long gloves. Really no point in chancing something infecting your open sores.

  8. used saran wrap on a tattoo previously when i had to get in our tank it kep the area dry but my wife had to put it on real tight
