Most LFS are open on Sunday (although I don't know about the ones in CR) so if you could delay your trip an hour you could pick out what you wanted and then have the store hold it for you til you were ready to go on Sunday and then you could stop by on your way out of town (I'm guessing most LFS would open around noon if they're open on Sunday).

Otherwise I would think if you pick them up right before close and follow the method you described you should be fine (think about shipping overnight online, they take stuff to fedex around 4:30 and it gets to you sometime the next day - so I would guess you wouldn't be too far off that time frame as long as you bought them as late as possible on Sat night.)

*keep in mind I've never had anything shipped to me, just going off others experiences/posts about the timing*

 

I think a styro and some heat packs would be fine, but JB's sump would be a lot more stable.

I use the 12 hour ones, didn't you take any with you when you were hunting?

They work good if you tape a couple of them to the lid on the inside of your styro....
