How far ahead of time do most of you make up your water when you do your water changes?
    Thanks, John

I make mine right after the water change, then it mixes all week. Like reefguy2010 I've got a container with a pump that keeps it mixing all week.

good question. I mix a 1-2 days. Get it up to temp for sure before I use it.

I am not sure I would do this, but the directions on Reef Crystals say you can mix it and use it immediatlly.

I keep mine mixed for as long as 4-6 weeks, just depends on my WC needs...I keep 2 Brute cans full at all times and ready to go...each has a heater and pump going t all times, and of course, lids ;-0)

I keep my saltwater mixing tank full at all times...so I make new water right after the water change. I have noticed that over time, calcification accumulates inside the tank, but I'm not really concerned about that.
