I'm thinking about re-designing my biocube and want to get some thoughts about some of the live stock. I want to move my Ocellaris clownfish, pistol shrimp, and yellow watchman goby to my larger reef (90g). Here's some things I'm questioning.

    1. Will the Ocellaris clown fish fight with the established clownfish in the larger reef.I have 2 in each tank. I'm thinking they will kill each other but wanted to get some other opinions.

    2. Can you have 2 pairs of pistol shirmp and watchman gobys together? I already have a pink spotted watchman and red pistol shirmp in the larger tank. Do you think I could move the yellow watchman goby and tiger pistol shrimp in with them?

Just some thoughts before I start doing anything.

    Thanks.

Yes the ocellaris will fight (rather the larger one of the two will pick on the other) if not properly introduced. If you already have 2 in the big tank- don't add the ocellaris if each tank has a pair, that's it-don't add any more clowns. If it were a larger floor space (much larger) I'd be tempted to try it, but not in a 90.

pistols pairs should be kept separate as well, you dealing with 2 different species with 2 different hosts. wouldn't do it if I had my say... not to say you couldn't try if you wanted. My multispecies pistols always fought to the death if kept in the same tank. I have only had success adding the same species of the opposite sex in a single tank.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking that as well but wanted to get some other opinions. Might stick to moving all the corals over and leaving the fish in the biocube. Now the fun part. Need to re-design. Sometimes it not good to give me too much time on my hands LOL!!
