I looking at a few R/O on ebay right now.
The bottom glass is tempered, it's an All-glass aquarium, so is the back also tempered?  I was wondering about that also, would it help to get the back drilled at all, than to have an over flow?

Definately, drilled is always better than over the back. But over the back is better that shattering a tempered tank. I just got a new to me 240 gallon and then found out it is all tempered. So I will be using three over the back. Tempered glass is usually marked or etched tempered. Look carefully, it is almost impossible to tell other than the mark.

I wanted to go with a drilled tank from the get go.  But they seem harder to find a deal on.  And I took a stab at the 72 like I did many other tanks on Ebay but actually won.  I'm really glad I got it, the bow makes it look bigger than what it is.
