Can anyone recommend a bio-pellet reactor for a 180 tank?  I was looking at the BRS jumbo, but read somewhere that it had problems clumping.  The octopus @289 is a bit tough to swallow for a simple reactor.

I had a BRS Jumbo and it never worked right. It's the only product I've ever gotten from Bulk Reef Supply that I was not completely satisfied with. They worked with me to try to get it to work, but in the end, it just never would tumble right. I use a Super Reef Octopus BR-140 now and it's a great reactor, however, make sure that you get a check valve as if you don't, when it looses power, it will suck the pellets into the motor and you have a big mess. This one would be a good option: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/pumps-and-plumbing/plumbing-sumps-drill-bits-overflows-uniseals/schedule-80-plumbing-fittings-and-valves/check-valves/true-union-swing-check-valve.html

What do you recommend for a pump to drive it?

Nice price.  How many cups of pellets are you using?

I'm using a QuietOne 3000 to run both a frag tank and my reactor temporarily until I get my sump reconfigured.  It's more than is required...I have to throttle it back.
