recommendations for T5 units

    I am considering upgrading my lights and would like to get recommendations.  At the moment I have a the marineland t5-48 (4x54 watts).  I wouldn't rule out MH, but like the more economical T5s. 
    Here are my requirements:
    - quiet
    - doesn't have to sit on top of glass like my current unit does due to no underside protection
    - preferrably in the $300 range
    - moon lights

    I would either looking into a Nova Extreme Pro(6 bulb setup) or a Tek Lite(6 bulb). I ran a Nova Extreme Pro over my breeder and 6 bulbs will definitely give you the light you need. As for the Tek Lite I hear about lots of people running them and no complaints. If you go the Tek route though you will need to look used because they are pretty pricey brand new. Not sure but I know flyingmoray had a Tek Lite for sale but not sure if it sold yet or not.

    I have a used tek 6 bulb that I would sell you at a good deal with 6 extra bulbs too.
