I recently had to trim a mother colony to keep it from spanning the width of my tank, and have some mini colony type pieces for sale. They are at least 3 inches in length, much larger than usual frags. I was told it was red planet when I purchased a small colony over a year ago. I've include some pictures of the pieces for sale as well as the mother colony.

Pic 1 - 2 pieces in the top middle of the pic and 1 in the bottom left
Pic 2 - 2 pieces in the middle bottom and 1 in the middle top
Pic 3 - top view of pic 2
Pic 4 - top view of pic 1
Pic 5 - main tank pic with the mother colony in the middle top
Pic 6 and 7 - pics of mother colony from front and top

Sorry the pictures aren't great, it does have a nice dark red color in person. Asking $50/each, located in Iowa City.

I love me some Red Planet. Nothing beats the classic acros.

First off, a few of these still available.

Second, thank you all for the compliments. This is one of my favorites in my tank, and it seems to do well, even when parameters fluctuated a couple of times (changed calcium reactors). Tank is a 210 gallon with LEDs (Radion Gen 3s). The only thing stopping it is the anemone next to it, but both seem content with the shared border at this point.

Can't tell but is the nem a Haddani? Your colonies are great! Seldom do hobbyists let them grow that big. Very nice to see that you are letting them reach their maturity! Great SPS skills @hajas@hajas.

As far as anemones, the tank includes two magnifica/ritteri, a gigantea and a small haddoni that has decided to settle out of view.

    Great colony!

What is the name of the birdnest in the top pic left? We have that and don't have a name for it.

I was told it was sour apple birdsnest. Not certain that is the official name, but seemed reasonable.

ORA's picture of their Green Tipped Orange Birdsnest. Also called the Sour Apple Birdsnest by others. @hajas@hajas yours definitely looks like it. Nice colony! Love your Ritteri!
