Red Sea Max for Sale

Are you getting out completely or just upgrading?

 

I'm surprised this has not sold yet. The Red Sea tanks always struck me as very well designed tanks. Sure, the price is a little higher than the BioCube, but I think that many people don't know that the skimmer, power strip, light timer, t5 lighting, moonlights, media tray are all part of the tank. I've never had first had experience with this tank, but they look good on paper. Check out this PDF for more information on this tank.

Maybe you can answer some noobie questions for me.

Whay are they over 2x the cost of a BioCube or relative size? (I.E. more functionality, etc?)
Are there any maintenance related issues that are of trouble like sole source filters/replacement parts or specific needs for only this type of system that is harder to find?
Have you had any issues with this tank that you have had to "customize" anything for it?

Tangers and all of the other sellers,
More frequently than not, great items don't sell for what they are worth because there's a lack of pictures or information. In your case tangers, you have some pics, but a few more would be even better to show people the features of the setup (like the integrated skimmer, timer, lighting and/or power strip)...plus, if you would have included the specs on your original post, it may have already sold. And people also want to see what things look like right now. I don't know if your tank is still set up or if it's been emptied, cleaned and your new tank set up. Maybe tell people what your favorite things about the tank were too. Anyway, good luck on selling your tank.
