redecorating.

    my tank not my house.
    im looking at my tank and rockwork, and starting to think they way i have it wont allow me to stage things very well.  how do the coral fare if i decide to move things around?

    Look into doing a rock wall. It will open up possibilities and give you space to grow. Especially in a smaller tank. We still need to get together to get you some coral. I will not be avaliable till next week though. Anotehr thing to think about is creating shelves out of plastic tubing which will elevate your rockwork without the need for additional rock below to support it. Egg crate on the back in specific areas will assist with not having to worry about the glass being scratched if you want to lean some rock against it.

    yeah im not real handy like that, always afraid ill mess something up. , a rock wall would be fantastic. exactly what do you mean when you say plastic tubing? you mean like pvc and such?

    yeah. depending how big or small you need it, just get the size appropraite. buy some tube, get some tees and start building tinkertoys just like you are 5. Make sure you drill or cut some breather holes in the tubes so water does not become stagent inside of the tubes.

    If you have a DSB be careful not to stir up your sand to much. If you do make sure you have some good filtration and flow. I decided to redecorate my tank and killed just about everything. Good luck!
