I was just wondering what others are keeping for fish. Im trying to keep my tank as peaceful as possible. Currently i have 2 clownfish, 1 bellus angel, 6 chromis, 1 six line wrasse, 2 banjai cardinal. Im gonna start adding pods so i can keep a mandarin . I know people really like tangs but im not sure i want any in my tank. Im gonna try some bartletts anthias as well but not sure how that will go as they are hard to keep. Im thinking abought a blenny as well.
Any sugggestions would be greatly apreciated!

i would do it all except the clown fish. they are to mean for me. Anthias are one of my favorite fish. You should do fine with the bartletts i have good luck with them

I think the type of clows makes a difference. I know the Maroon clowns are pretty aggressive.

    I love tangs myself.

I have a big yellow & a hippo that get along great together.

I just bought 3 really small ones for my other tank.  They are really cool as they school together.  Where one goes they all go.

Other then that your psuedochromis are usually friendly & very colorfull.

Some wrasses are good, I never get tired of watching a coris wrasse swim around.

Also some pygmy angels are very colorful & fairly safe.

I try to get fish that are not only beautiful but serve a purpose in a reef tank. If you have excess algae, namely caulerpa I would recommend either a rabbitfish or a tang.
The rabbitfish would be most effective at removing this, however you need to keep it fed or it may nip or eat certain coral. Most don't have trouble keep a rabbitfish in a reeftank. The foxface lo is probably the most readily available. I've had one for years with no trouble. Other fish tend to leave it alone due to its venomous spines. They are full of character and are able to change color instantly. For the most part they are very hardy.
If that doesn't interest you I would recommend a tang. I've found that sailfin tangs tend to eat caulerpa better than yellow tangs, but certainly not as well as rabbitfish. I currently have a large hippo tang, yellow tang, and sailfin tang in the same tank. I have no problems with ich. If you are concerned about getting ich when getting a tang, buy from a reputable source. I would recommend sea of marvels. Sometimes when you move a tang into a new tank you may see some signs of ich due to stress. If you have a large system with good water parameters, this should be temporary and negligible. Of course quarantine is the best solution.

Oh and you are NOT supposed to mix two zebrasoma tangs, namely the yellow and the sailfin. Mine are ok but they tend to fight.
