Sump is made by company called Trigger Systems. This is their 30 - Ruby version. I got it day after thanksgiving on sale, plus 10% off on some site I don't recall anymore... But several places do carry them...it is a nice sump. I want to say I ended up paying around $270 for it. It has it's nuances but overall nice, clean, solid sump.

I just realized, I haven't updated this build thread in a while.  The tank is now at home.  Work didn't like the numerous RODI overflows I ended up having due mainly to human error.  Understandable.  I miss this tank very very much in my office...but now I get to fiddle with it more at home and not worry about messes, etc.  I finally have apex programing down and now working on flood sensors.  I realized splicing into wiring is harder than I thought...at least for hooking up my Davy Jones Locker.  I will post pictures tonight of the corals I got at Spring Fest.  I need to keep a diary or something on the different corals I have...I'm starting to forget all their names.

These two keep getting closer and closer to each other.  Gold Hammer on right.

LOL on the flooding! Been there before! Float switches are nice, and you can get them from BRS for like 15$. As far as that work goes, I believe it's a type of bristle worm, and from what I'm told/know, they can eat clams and kill them. What is all in that QT tank, where did you get the rock from? Was it dry rock to start with or "live rock"?

That was my old Q tank. Rocks were from a GIRS member and oddly enough when I took those rocks out for the move - no worm to be found. I didn't re-use the rocks in my new setup and still have not found that buggard again....just dissappeared!

Hmm odd, I imagine he's still in there. If you plan on using that rock, I believe you can soak it in rodi water for a few weeks to kill off any unwanted pests and so forth. I had them in my last tank, and just did hypo treatment on the rocks and it killed off most of the unwanted garbage, but had to cycle again to get back all the beneficial bacteria. Someone else should chime in for me, to help clarify this. I've only been in the SW community or little over a year. Maybe someone with a little more expertise could chime in, hopefully!

Good luck, with the boss, in regards to you flooding the office lol!

Man I am so jealous of the cool frags you have. All very nice. I so wanted to go to spring fest but with my tank literally full and the move in the next couple month didn't want to lose anything. Very nice tank. Thanks for the info on the sump to.
