Yes. Going on 3-4 years now. I'm satisfied with it but I haven't used any other controllers to compare it to. The product seemed to go stagnant a couple years ago and was falling out of favor with many users. They've renewed their efforts starting about 6 months ago and are working on new products. In some ways I think they are trying to catch up to the competition but I think they are trying to be innovative by actively asking users for new ideas. There haven't been any formal announcements but I think they are developing the next generation reef keeper controller. From all indications, nearly all of the current modules would work with the next gen controller. Even the RKE head unit would be repurposed as a remote display module. What surprises me most is that all this new energy started at the same time that DA Eric started representing the company on their support forum. Who is this guy? I'm impressed.

If I was in the market for a new controller right now, I'd most want an Apex. Your financial investment would likely be similar for either RKE or Apex. I think the majority of club members who have controllers have Apex which is really nice when you have questions.

I have an Reef Keeper and love it

 

I have 2 reefkeeper lites and I'm verry happy with them. Maybe not as fancy as the APEX, but it does what I need it to do.

 

I'm leaning towards the Reef Angle
