refuge creature ID

The second one is really cool, but I don't know what it is, the third one I have as well and don't know what that is either.

 

Here are my guesses:

1 = amphipod (good)
2 = aptaisia? (looks like might be a "baby" one but not 100%)
3 = flatworm

 

Have you tried touching the second one lightly with a stick or waving a stick past it? If it spirals closed it could be Aptasia. If it folds in, it's not aptasia. If it does nothing it's not aptasia. Still, it doesn't look like aptasia to me.

 

#2 Medusa hydroid. At least that's what it looks like to me. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif

 

Hydroid was my second guess for that one.

 

Ya most unfortunately as a breeder I've lost many baby batches to them. I pretty much wipe my system if I find them. At least the pots I've got the nest on gets wiped before entering a hatch out tank. Those dang hydroids can clear a large nest out in a matter if a few hours.
