Well I found that tap the rock outside water with the nem's upside down the foot will release with out have to touch it at all. Anyone else have any other luck with removing nems from rocks?

Move a powerhead to directly agitate the nem. It will get annoyed and the foot will let go. Minimal stress, no exposure outside of the water, and you won't damage the foot trying to remove it.

I've also used the 'tickle the foot' method but it takes time and you're stuck with your arm in the tank.
