return pump sugestions

    I have a 60 gallon cube that I am trying to get up and running.Looking for return pump sugestions. Bought a A quiet one 4000 pump and I feel it has too much flow. I am looking for a quiet and efficient pump to return my water back from sump without creating a whirlwind of flow through my sump.I dont want to Tee off pump and add to plumbing. Trying to keep it clean and simple down below.I have a couple of MP10's for flow inside of tank.Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

    Adding a ball valve is an easy way to adjust your flow if you don't want to T off or replace pump. I personally like the T to have return pointed in different directions though.

    Roman,

    Hay T it off and use some of flow into a Two little fish Reactor or something. I think a ball valve is a good idea to dial it down.

    I have the same pump on my 90. I Teed it off to feed refugium.

    A Eheim 1260 or 1262 would be a nice pump...everyone raves about those.

    You could just add a reducer on the input side of the pump. that will slow down the flow.
