I wasnt aware Ritteri's were known as fish eaters but found our 8"+ female Naso tang protruding from its mouth this morning. We've had this ritteri for 2+ years and have never known it to eat fish. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Ohh no that’s terrible, that was my daughters favorite fish in your tank. Sorry for your loss.

Was the Naso sick? I had a bubble tip do that to a small fox face and have to wonder if it was sick.

Do you plan to replace the female?
We will have to make it out again, setting up a 120 so I will be needing a lot more coral soon

Seemed to be completely healthy the day before. We've had the pair of Naso tangs for 16 months.
