I've tried kalk, vinegar, Joe's Juice and Aiptasia X along with peppermints and I still have some.  Getting ready to order a Copper Band shortly.
I did decide to pull a rock and torch them with flame once - that seemed to work.  Little labor intensive and can be tough on neighboring corals...

That's a good strategy. One thing to consider, if the peppermints are too well fed on other food, they may not eat the aiptasia...so if you start seeing an aiptasia outbreak again, cut back on your food and the peppermints may start doing their job again.

i blasted the little bastards with kalk and water and they r all shriveled.  Yes....it's a good feeling to see them shrivel up !!

 

Be careful using lemon juice though - it can change the ph of your water very quickly. You can ask anyone who was over to get fish as the parent's tank was full of aiptaisa and now you would never know we had a problem! 8 peppermint shrimp were definately a great natural fix.
