does anybody have any ideas why my rodi is only allowing water to come out the waste side of the outlet and not on the clean water side. It's set up exactly the way it says to on the BRS website. thanks for any help.

the only valve that I have on there is the supply valve at the beginning of the unit and a flow restrictor on the waste side after the membrane housing

Can you send a link to the actual unit so we might be able to better help you?

Pictures of the unit itself might help.

How old is it sounds like it could be a membrane issue have you tried running it with the membrane removed

OK. here are some pictures of the unit. Also I did pull the membrane out of the membrane housing and it seems to work fine.

I believe the membrane was new when I got the unit.

If it's working without the membrane in it I'd say the membrane is definitely bad if the last owner used it and then it sat dry until you hooked it up that's the fastest way to kill a membrane in my opinion

Ok think we found the problem. I'll get a new membrane and try that. Thanks for all the help

I agree. Also make sure it is put in with the plastic tube facing the cap.
