UV Lighting 65W 454 Blue Powercompact bulb combines the properties of a 454 nm blue bulb (approximately 85% of the mix) with a 420nm actinic bulb (approximately 15% of the mix) producing a spectrum that encourages both bluing in SPS corals and fluorescence in capable corals. Also helps balance out a washed-out/yellow hued tank. Built-in 180° silver oxide reflector maximizes bulb output putting more light where it's needed, on the tank. Outperforms powercompact bulbs without a reflector by as much as 50%.

Recommended Use:




as a supplement to metal halides or in combination with 12000K Actinic White, 14000K 75-25 Aquablue or other full spectrum Powercompact bulbs. Can also be used for dawn/dusk applications.
Compatibility: suitable replacement for most 55W Powercompact bulbs.
