I have been having trouble with the instant ocean reef crystal salt mix. It has been raising my calcium levels. I'm trying to figure out if I want to switch to the regular Instant Ocean or salinity. I have not been able to find the salinity product any where in dsm or online for sale.

When I had that issue I just switched to regular Instant Ocean. Its cheap and it works fine for me.

What has it been raising your calcium to? Have you been supplementing with anything else?

It got to 680. I did a big water change with the regular Instant Ocean got it down to 420. I talked with my lfs and they said there are a few people having the problem. The level kept Going up with every water change. I stoped adding the aqavitro calcium. I was wondering about the seachem salinity product. I heard a lot of people talking about it at frag fest.

Careful switching brands. You need to transition gradually. RC to SS no prob, just not to different brands too fast (no big PWCs)
