What is the safest and most effective way to raise salinity in a 90gal tank with a 20gal sump?
    I'm at 1.022 I want 1.025, any help would be great.[IMG]

Just top off with NSW instead of freshwater. Raise it slowly. I had the same issue in my tank. Only took a few days to get the salinity back up there.

So mix new SW at 1.025 and top off with it?

That all depends on how much your tank requires in top offs per day, if it isn't a whole lot and if you have an ato try turning that off for a few days. Then test the salinity each day toping off with water that is close to the same parameters. Also depends what is in your tank, some critters are very sensitive to salinity changes and will require more careful adjustments. This can also be adjusted through a series of bi-weekly partial water changes. (use care to not upset any balance depending on livestock)
