Uve got an unopened back of salt. My build is put on hold for a while. How long will the salt be ok?

keep it near your dehumidifier if you have one or in the driest part of your house. like xroads said as long as moisture doesnt come into contact with it it should stay good. if you get back into your build a few months down the road from now and get that salt out and it is rock solid or has several large clumps in it i wold throw that salt out and buy new salt...if its powdery and has fine granules then you will be good to go for using it.
