Starting to get low on salt and am wondering if there are any group buys on the horizon?  If not, I found 200 galon reef crystals online for $53 with free shipping over $85 and will just order a couple of boxes.

Quick Update-Talked to Scott the other day and asked this question.  He said they are out of the Reef Crystals for the buy, but they have talked about doing another group buy here soon.  So everyone needs to probably chime in a bit so they know that there is definitely interested and they can sell it.

how long does salt keep for. I would guess if you keep moisture out it can keep for a long time, but thats just a guess.
I don't go through it very fast with just my 40 gallon, but would be interested in buying some if a group buy were arranged.

Perfect buckets to keep this stuff in for future reference is a Home Depot bucket.  There buckets are the nicest buckets every, they have a rubber seal on them and seal nice and tight.  I would guess salt would last quite awhile, and youd be surprised I've almost went through two bags with my 12 gallon nano in the time since the last one.  It would take about a year for me to go through 200 gallon boxes.

I decided to just order online rather than wait for a group buy. Ended up finding an e-coupon along with the free shipping so am getting 2 boxes of reef crystals for $95.38 shipped to my door..
