I'm making a box out of egg crate to put rubble into to give to people to help seed tanks with life.  I will be making 2 of them this weekend.  My rubble has aptasia so that will have to be taken care of before I will let them out.  I don't want to pass them along.  If anyone wants to try this let me know.

This is actually a pretty good idea that I think I will start myself in my area.

For seeding? If you thinking seeding pods, it is great. If you are thinking seeding dry rock to "become live" then not so much.

I plan on making them 10 by 10 or so. When I get them done I will post here again, and see how long it takes to get a new tank if anyone has one comeing up to get a good cycle going. As far as the cheato is good for the pods, but there is so much more life in rock that does not stay on plants.

Here is one box it's 10in by 10in.  its about 15 to 20 pounds.  I've made a smaller one but it is all dry rock and only 7 by 8 squares.  I'm making more and going to be 10 by 10 squares.  Might make some bigger to.  Just to see how they work.  But I think the one in the pic might be to big.

I got this going with Seachem Matrix... would make it really easy to start more tanks /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif
Good idea on the box though!
