This morning when I feed fish and got shocked. I track down what's is causing shock, and it was titanium heater! Great! I have to work and I don't have extra heater. What are the risk if I leave it on? Till I get replacement tonight? Or turn off? Advice? Thanks

Is this the only heater in the tank? What size of a tank is it?

Do you have MH lighting? That would help keep the heat up during the light cycle if you turn the heater off. Plus, your house heat could be raised a bit during the day.

Yea either way you should shut it off. A friend of mine just had a huge outbreak of ich that was triggered by stray voltage from a heater. It would be much safer to the fish if you turn the heater off. I would try turning up the heat in the house to like 80 or greater for the day.

What a day! I didn't get all this message till now. I end up unplug and turned heat up like you guys said. Then I left my phone home. I just said screw it, just keep in faith. I got home with heater, tank stays warm where it suppose to be so that's relive. Everything seems good. Now new better heater in. Let's see how this bring. Thanks everyone for your input.

I also recomend using GFCI outlets (the ones in the bathroom or near the sink). It can show you that you have a problem before you go fishing for stray voltage. These can save YOU, and your fish a lot of stress; and even your life. Less than one amp can kill a person. Food for thought.....
BTW, i am glad you and your tank made it through the day without any huge swings!  Happy Reefing!
