K so currently on my 58gallon mixed reef I have an coralife needle wheel skimmer thats rated for 220 gallons. I have quite a few problems keeping the bubbles inside the skimmer (the skimmer just looks like its pulling water though it but not bubbling on the inside), but other then that its been ok ( first big skimmer so i guess I am not sure what to expect ) but I have also received an aqua medic turboflotor hang on the back skimmer for free. The skimmer does not have a pump on it, but I was wondering if I could use the pump on my coral life to run the aqua medic skimmer? And is the aqua medic skimmer going to be better then the coral life? Thanks for your help /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/cool.gif

Yup sure have, i have often wondered if this problem is cause due to the fact the skimmer is to large for the tank? I just need some sort of skimmer on this tank till my stand is built for my 144.
