So, what's up with Sponge?!

I've been absent from the forum for quite some time and it doesn't look like that will change any time soon. I have projects going in all directions! Some of you may be wondering why and its answer is for another time. All the changes have been and will require most of my free time. I am redoing every tank...rockscapes, salt, dosing additives, lighting and sumps! These changes will take at least 6 months!

The 40B is dry and cleaned currently. I will be setting it up again and, adding things to it and repurposing some equipment. It is going to be for shrooms, Rics/Yumas, zoas/palys and maybe a few leathers. It will be primarily used for growout and frags of those just mentioned. It will be run under T5's for the time being and later transitioned to Led's.

The 180 is currently being changed into an SPS and Clam tank. I will continue to have my Goni garden and some torches for movement. The past month has seen corals moved to the sandbed until I get more room in the frag and 40B tanks. Fish are being added regularly. It will take quite some time to complete this display but it will be sooo worth it! I will be running LED's and having a very functional refugium as soon as I get everything pulled together! Once all the changes are made, SPS growth and colors will be at the heart of this tank!

The frag tank has overflowed so I have set up a nano tank to house that overflow and for corals that I will be keeping. Initially the frag tank will have T5 lighting and later go to LED's. I will be incorporating a refugium into this system also.

FallFest: Unfortunately, it looks as if I will not be attending and I definitely will not be selling. My daughter was married Saturday. She is on her honeymoon so I am currently petsitting their 2 dogs and 2 cats in addition to my own, all the while these changes are beginning. In less than 2 weeks my daughter is having hip surgery so I will be helping her until she gets moving good on her own. Her recovery will coincide with FF However, I continue to sell corals out of my home. If you are wanting some great frags and want to make the trip to Marshalltown, pm me for an appointment Acans, micros, chalices, softies (leathers, shrooms & rics/yumas, gsp, cloves,etc.) and LPS are in abundance right now. Colonies from the 40B and 180 are also for sale. Those of you that have taken the drive to my home to buy frags have stated that it was well worth the trip and time. All corals are priced to sell as I want and need to make room! Most frags are priced at $10- $30. Highend corals are drastically reduced. I am also selling frags in lots, my choice. They are moving rather quickly so come early to get the best selection! I aim to please!

I am selling the frag tank that I used for frag shows. It is in excellent condition and the frag racks come with it! I am selling lighting, BRS additives, and equipment like reactors, etc.... When you come for frags, ask to see the drygoods and equipment I have for sale if you are looking for something. Due to the projects, family demands and time constraints, I will not be posting pictures of items and frags for sale, sorry. Please refer to the above. Thanks Jeanette. Yes, it's a zoo around here! lol. What I am doing is going to take some time especially because of the time of year...{everyone's birthdays and all the holidays will slow me down } however, it is going to be very worth it! If I get a chance, I'm going to try to show up for FF but it's probably a long shot
