I wish I could but my 300 reef and 160 fowlr tanks and the 20 nano reef have the meter spinning as it is lol and I'm working on an SPS only 40 breeder build also! yeah its an obsession that I think we all share

Put some halides over your tanks and watch meter spin and the boss lady looking like she wants to kill you when electric bill comes.

@jeremy just throw the bosses stuff into the garage and set the tank up. Just leave the recliner for u! And hand her the power bill and tell her if she wants light in the garage she better pay it!

 

See the way around that is you go to LEDs and save some electricity to allow for more equipment or another tank I know I already chewed up my savings from 250w halides to LEDs!

 

I think I already used the it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission card when I cut a hole in the floor for a basement sump/fish room for my sps tank.
She won't let forget that. It comes up every time someone visits lol.
