Soooo, anyone thinking about Macna 2012 yet?!

    Just curious if anyone was thinking about going to Macna 2012 in Dallas (or have already registered?!)?  Attending Macna in Des Moines this year has definitely got me thinking about the next one /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/hehe.gif  Registration is at $100 right now, and will go up the closer it gets.........

    Yea me and the girlfriend are already going, we needed to transfer over some money from saving to checking and we'll be signing up!

    We registered Saturday for the $85. Not sure if we are going to be able to go, but we can always sell are ticket if we aren't able to make it. Just couldn't beat that price, and with as much fun it was this year, we might start attending every year.

    I wanted to register during the weekend when it was $85, but wasn't sure yet (didn't even think about selling the tickets if we didn't go, but that's a good idea!), so I registered today for the $100 price and am taking my brother along. We will probably stay 4-5 days total because of the cost of flying down etc. My wonderful husband is going to watch the kids at home so I can go /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

    I know I'll be going. It will be my 3rd, but my first that I'll have spent a substantial amount of time at the show vs behind the desk. Really looking forward to it!

    I am inclined to pass after the jabs they took at our MACNA in their presentation on Saturday evening.

    I felt it was a bit of a cheap shot......

    In all fairness, we took some jabs at Orlando too regarding the speaker tracks, so it's just kind of part of the process.   Each host tries to sell the conference on some improvement over the previous event. 
    As far as I'm concerned, if the length of the skywalk was the only thing that they could play off off, then we did pretty good!

    I'll go if i can hitch a ride and crash a couch! This was an expensive weekend and i only lived 2 hours away =) But I know how badly i'd like to go!

    I was on the DFMAS site and asked about it being a $100 and how long etc it would be at that price........anyhow, whoever is in charge of the price said they decided they would keep it at $85 until the end of the week /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif Nice! The $85 price was supposed to just be the price you would get if you signed up at Macna. I had already purchased my passes at $100, so he said he would give me the difference in raffle tickets /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif Great time to buy your passes if you're thinking you want to go!
