Sorry for the trouble i caused and the arguments it caused!
It seems to me this sight is set up for the exchange off ideas and learning from others. Just because we don't like someones idea that dose not make it wrong even though we don't want to hear it or it makes us mad. I don't mean to start any arguments there has been to much of that it fogs our purpose and leads only to hasty decisions that are bad for both sides and ultimately we all lose. I love culturing and experimenting and do nothing halfway nor do i settle for that works. Any person who has been to my house can see that. I simply love doing it! I am not going to get rich doing what i love nor will i ever come close. By utilizing evaporation and selective cell culturing i have increased my success rate by %100 and trust me i have killed many cultures but it only makes me try harder and after many hours hovering over a microscope with a little needle i have gotten better at what i do. I have ordered many culture kits and the GW you receive with them in a little bag is not what i grow not even close. And as for rocket science what we do is not but if we put all our hours in the trade together we could build a rocket! Nothing in life is easy and if it is u r doing it wrong! Sorry again for all the trouble.
    Just another fish nerd

    Thanks Jeremy

What strain of green water do you use?

Do you raise any copepods? I know to raise some of the angel fish & so on needs pods that are smaller then 50mu.

    Thanks
    Craig

Hmmm, I have no idea why you are apologizing, but it sounds like you have the green water business down to a real science! I've only heard good things about you Jeremy!

+1 on this reply.  If you do have pods in addition to green water I'll be contacting you sometime this summer/fall depending on how long it takes to get my system torn down and re-set up.

I grow Chlorella and Nannochloropsis grown to 5gal stage then added together otherwise Chlorella takes over as evaporation occurs and salinity rises. All others (saltwater strain Chaeotoceros Phaeodactylum etc) when added together with Chlorella seamed to give up trying to consume nutrients (nitrate) and Chlorella takes over or Chlorella just consumes the nutrients faster.  No copods right now but should have another culture going in a week or so after the reconstruction of my culture area. Thanks!
