I purchased  BTA earlier this week and while it has moved some over the last few it seems to be doing well.
this morning after i turn my lights on and let everything wake up i do my normal good morning check, making sure everything is in order wheni notice my nem is folded in 2, almost like their are 2 heads on it.  could it really be splitting so soon? it isnt a very big nem being maybe 4-6 inchs across. could my clown be stressing it out with all the wiggling and cannon balls its been doing since i got it?

Ill try and get some pics later, it just has moved to the backside of the structer i made for it and is difficult to see atm.

Just let it be. It could be splitting or it could just be relocating. You'll know in another day.

Also, you may want to check your water params. Sometimes splitting can be stress induced.

just checked everything, and from what I can see only things out of whack is my cal which is at 480, seems a tad high but nothing to worry about. and my PH is at 7.8-8.0 seems a little low i think a small water change will help those out though.

It is very very common to have a bta split when ever it is moved to a new location.

Those don't seem bad. Just keep an eye on it. I remember when my RBTA first decided to take a tour of my tank, I thought it was splitting. If it really is splitting, you'll probably see some areas where the flesh of the anemone is torn. All of the splits that I have ever noticed have taken a few hours to complete. Frequently the anemone will hide after the split for a couple of days too. Just keep an eye on things and everything will be fine.
