Today was my first fest ever and I had a great time. Sponge hooked me up with some great frags and my 125 officially changed from FOWLR to mixed reef. My only regret is that other obligations didn't allow for me to see either of the speakers or hang around for the raffles.

Well we got a nice brain coral, feather star, tube nem, a few other odds and ends and...my wife really wanted seahorses...so...We got seahorses...complete with a mini 8 gallon LED cube setup from Dirk for them. Also picked up a nice 6 bulb T5 fixture for our 75 gallon tank from a member while there. Best part was conversing with everyone, meeting to meet new people, and started to get to know the vendors. Also, lunch put on by the Smouse School was excellent!

I enjoyed helping out with Spring Fest it was a lot of fun! I bought mainly small stuff. but all things I like, some Ninja Star Astrea snails, a nice Rhodactis, a pretty blue and green Acan and finally I cant do a Frag Fest with out picking up a Zoa or two. I know that every time I go to Frag Fest I cant wait to go again so we must be doing something right! One of the most amazing things I enjoyed watching were the Feather Starfish.

I sold the light that was mentioned earlier. And got some nice corals. Got a mummy eye chalice, a Hollywood stunner chalice, 4 various sps frags that I dont know, some acans, a huge plate coral, and I got a sweet clam! I also won a tshirt in the raffle.

I ended up with about 16 frags! Converting my biocube to SPS only so I wanted quite a few "seeds" to get started. Found everything I was looking for from caps and encrusting montis to birdsnest and lots of incredible acros!

I wish that I would have had a spot for rock nems, anyone else notice the neon pink ones?? Amazing.
