spring fest

Mainly because Quad Cities region is half dead, and DM is burned out and didnt want to do it.

 

Fall Fest will be in Des Moines this year

 

You should have joined the BOD. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/biggrin.gif The same few people have been doing it for years and wanted a break. Its not so bad to switch things up a bit. All we did was switch one fest for another.

 

And now we wont have to drive 2-3 hours in another snow storm /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

 

Ok im gonna throw this out there and its gonna be blunt. If the people in dsm was burned out they should have said something instead of it being silent and trying to get both frag shows over there. There are plenty of people that would help schedule and host either frag show in the dsm area. From the looks of things it didnt look like a very good turnout at fall fest but hey i could be wrong......

That was hanging at Fall Fest.

 

Look, it was in Des moines for ever. All we did was give a community that stepped up and asked for it the chance to do it. We are still having a fest in Des Moines. The last one that was there was one of the best i remember.

Anyone can run for a BOD position as long as they meet the requirements. It would just be a simple vote. And in the case of this year there was not even that because the same few people were the only ones to volunteer for the positions.

We are going to reach out for help with fall fest and look forward to having more people help.
