Currently I do not run carbon or GFO. As it stands my LPS do really good and my SPS do ok.  I have a ice avast bio pellet reactor I been on the fence about putting on line as I am afraid that it may cause some issues with how my LPS grow.  So before I do decide one way or the other I thought I would see if anyone here has some thoughts on the subject.   If I do put it online I will be starting with only 1/2 cup of pellets as my tanks total volume is under 100 gal.

I would go with less. 1/4 cup. This was what I was told to do for a 75gal with a 30gal sump. I am not doing it yet, because I am scared to death to screw something up.

    Good Luck

Whats your nitrate and phosphate levels right now? Using the pellets will just allow you to fed more food to your corals /fish without having to worry so much about those two getting out of control. Start small and increase as needed. You won't screw anything up.

if you do start it up don't forget to put the line coming out of the reactor near your skimmer intake
