Steve`s LEDs

I received yesterday my order for Steve's LEDs. I have a Coralife Biocube 29 and purchased the retrofit kit with moonlight, Typhoon controller and extension cable. This took some work to get installed. For some reason the hoo dI have has a middle divider and I had to remove that to make the lens fit back on.


As you know i did a PAR meter reading with the stock setup and across the top ledge in my tank I was getting a reading of 180 on the very highpoint. With the LED upgrade I have the blues at 35% and the "whites" at 40%. The meeting reading is 360. Now I know that the PAR meter is not as accurate with LEDs.. BUT holy cow!


One of the zoa frags I had reacted by spitting but seems to be doing ok now. I had them originally at 40% and 50% then backed it down a bit.


The controller is nice as well as it does the sunrise and sunset fade of the LEDs..


Liking them so far. THe LPS frags in the tank are really looking good
