So to make way for more freshwater tanks for the hubs we are going to move the cube out of its current place. I'm happy cause it will now be in our living room!! But I'm super nervous about moving it. I was thinking take out most of the rock put it in a 10 gal with as much water as I can get out of the cube. Leave the base rock sand and fish with as much water as we can and still lift it. My fears are what if we leave to much water in and between the weight of the water sand and rock the bottom gives way? What if I throw the tank into a mini cycle and lose everything? I have never moved a salt tank before. Just set them up. So I need some input and suggestions from others who have done this. Please any advise is welcome. TIA!!!

I would remove ALL the rock and leave as much water as you can handle to move , the water covers the bottom more evenly on the bottom of the tank then Rock would.

The tank has been moved and was a success. I ended up leaving just the three big base rocks. My thought was it would help to not cause to much water to slosh around. I left some water in the bottom for the fish as well. Everthing is looking great and opened up right away once I got the light back on it. Won't be able to check on my tank until later tonight.
