I like you guys and all but it gets boring over here.

So, where do you go to get your reef on? Please feel free to list your favorite internet sites in this thread. Thanks.

Aw man...aren't we a one stop shop? :) No seriously, if I'm not on here, I'm on ReefCentral.com or Nano-Reef.com. RC has about a billion users, but their admins and rules makes it kind of crappy. Nano-Reef became a favorite of mine when I started this hobby with a 12 gallon tank. Reef2Reef.com is another good one. When I can't find what I need on any of those sites, I'll do a Google search which frequently takes me to www.wetwebmedia.com I don't like the question/answer format of most of their information so I try to stay away from there if I can.

I know these are basically the core reefkeeping sites so I doubt this was much help, but those are the sites that I use.

I also like RC, although their moderators can be a little stupid at times. I will say that some of the forums have about as much BAD information in them as they do good. If you know how to weed through that it shouldn't be a problem though.

Reef Central can suck it. But I go there too.

What about internet sites? For example glassboxdesign.com? Any other sites that are similar to this?

a like aquariumadvice.com. Several frequent RC users post there also and are very knowledgeable. I'm actually a mentor there too, I have a lot of FW experience and give good advice I guess. I go to RC to get some more technical questions answered now and then. Also Reefsanctuary.com.

I enjoy Nano-Reef.com.  it's not as big as ReefCentral and doesn't have all those annoying administrators and moderators on it.  Lots of useful information.

    uberfrags.net
Its ran by a great couple out of Chicago. It is mostly northern IL, southern WI people, but its getting bigger and bigger all the time. It is also frequented by some of the top names in the hobby.

Along with the sites others have posted, I make trips to Omaha occasionally, so I check out there site from time to time to see if anyone's selling something around the time I'll be there and also to see if I can check out people's tanks.

    Their site is now http://nebraskamarinesociety.com/

They were formally known as Linoma Reefs, but now it's just Nebraska Marine Society(NMS).

I like going to reef central as well, although sometimes it's a pain. The nms site was just restarted. They lost a lot of data but the new site is looking good and growing. I've actually started a new site called newagereefs.com. Since it just started there isn't a ton of activity yet. I will say this though, GIRS has a great site! I've been browsing it for awhile now and I really like it.

I agree. Both reefbuilders and glassbox-design seem to have similar content but I think the writing is a little better on glassbox-design. There have also been a couple of articles on reefbuilders (like the icecap one) where they present their opinion as (unsupported) fact.
